Erin E. Woods

Erin Woods is an attorney who has been practicing criminal defense at Student Legal Services for over nine years. She is a two-time graduate of The Ohio State University, receiving both a Bachelor’s and Law degree from Ohio State. Erin is licensed to practice law in all Ohio courts as well as the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. Prior to joining SLS, she worked at the Legal Aid Society of Columbus and the Columbus City Prosecutor’s Office as a legal intern.

Erin is passionate about criminal justice and is strongly committed to protecting the rights of her clients. She has experience researching, writing, and arguing complex and novel legal issues at both the trial level and the Tenth District Court of Appeals. Erin is thrilled to be a part of the SLS team, where she can be an advocate for students and help them resolve their legal concerns.

Outside of court, Erin enjoys reading, watching sports, spending time with loved ones, and spoiling her two cats, Henry and Tess.
