Timothy E. Rosensteel

Tim Rosensteel is a graduate of the Moritz College of Law at The Ohio State University. Prior to joining Student Legal Services, Tim was a Staff Attorney in the Housing Group for the Legal Aid Society of Cleveland and represented low-income tenants facing eviction. At Student Legal Services, Tim is a member of the Civil Team and maintains a daily practice focused on advising and representing students on various landlord-tenant issues, consumer issues, and litigation. Tim has noteworthy experience with housing repairs, fair housing, eviction defense, fair debt collection, and consumer rights. He particularly enjoys advising students on negotiation, including healthy and respectful approaches to navigating and resolving disputes. He also takes pride in his strong research and writing abilities to advocate for his clients. 

Tim is committed to empowering Ohio State students with quality advice and representation for various legal matters. Tim has a passion for expanding access to legal advice and representation to all members of his community. As such, he is proud to work for Student Legal Services, where that mission is fulfilled daily and in furtherance of the academic success of his clients.
