A roommate agreement is a contract between the tenants. It is not a contract between the landlord and the tenants. The roommate agreement will outline how much each roommate agrees to pay for rent and utilities. The agreement also sets forth how the roommates pay the rent. It also documents house rules for matters like overnight guests, quiet hours, parties and more.
